Great game! I too had the subversive platformer concept when Game Jam first started, but we abandoned most of the ideas you went with (fake controls, fake objectives, etc.) thinking it would be too annoying to play. After playing this, maybe we shouldn't have! A bunch of similar ideas are still implemented in the game we ended up with, though.
One complaint, though: you are a horrible person for making the level called Deceit! If that light in the middle had been a checkpoint, I could forgive you.
Just updated to v1.00 with a post jam 10 hour work session. Fixes some levels and some bugs with collisions.
Deceit has become Dec-- and --eit ( i split the level in two, basically adding a checkpoint. have fun!)
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. The latest version tones down deceit a little bit. I forget that not everyone is a platforming maniac.

Nevertheless, 5 stars.
Fun game and nice puzzles! I love games with some wit. Also great music, Alec!
